I love learning and decided to go back to university to study Digital Media Communications. A big change from my undergrad degree in Criminology and masters in Human Rights Law. In Digital Media I found my passion and was very proud to graduate with distinction from Ulster University in 2014. It was a fantastic course and one I would highly recommend.
Watch my testimonial about the course here:
Quoted in the Ulster University postgraduate prospectus I described the course as “Education of the future! This innovative course draws together communications, advertising and information technology, providing digital media theory linked to key players in the Northern Ireland industry to provide students with an insight into how it works in practice. My previous studies in the field of law led to my current role in the charity sector in Northern Ireland. Digital media provides a new platform for our communications and campaigns work, so I wanted to understand how to develop this in a strategic and planned way. The course team’s teaching style supported open and shared discussion that enhanced our learning and development. I highly recommend this course to anyone working in digital media or those considering it for business use.”
The Digital Media Communications course has since been validated for a masters and I look forward to going back to study with the team again in autumn 2015. You can read their blog here.
