The Coalition of Aid and Development Agencies (CADA)* are teaming up with Belfast Film Festival again this year to bring you The Better World Film Fringe. This is when my work life and love of film come together. We have two really powerful films to share.
Kicking off on opening night with District Zero which asks the question ‘What can a smartphone of a refugee reveal to us about his world? The documentary narrates the daily life of a tiny mobile phone shop Zaatari, one of the largest refugee camps in the world.’
Thursday 14th April, 7pm, The Mac Belfast £5 – Get your tickets here.
The second event screens the film inspired by Naomi Klein’s international non-fiction bestseller. Filmed in nine countries over four years, ‘This Changes Everything’ is a powerful rallying cry for a global movement to take on the challenge of climate change, and in the process, transform our economic system into something radically better.
Tuesday 19th April, 7pm, The Mac Belfast £5 – Get tickets here.
